MICRO RNA TARGET GENE PREDICTING DEVICE, MICRO RNA TARGET GENE PREDICTING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, method and program capable of obtaining a prediction result of a sufficiently narrowed down target gene by excluding a large amount of pseudo-positive prediction results and predicting a target gene about a micro RNA transcriptional product resolution function. PSOLUTION: A gene to be a micro RNA target is predicted on the basis of alignment, genes having the prescribed number of a plurality of target sites or more are extracted, genes whose micro RNA-gene correlation coefficient is not higher than a prescribed negative number are extracted, a set intersection of the genes extracted on the basis of the number of target sites and the genes extracted on the basis of the correlation coefficient is calculated, a combination of two genes is selected as a pair from the set intersection, a likelihood that there is a relation between the correlation or a cooccurrence relation of a gene pair and a matter that the gene pair makes micro RNA common is examined with respect to the selected gene pair, and the gene pair is extracted based on the likelihood.
