PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance technique for a disk array device, enabling even a maintenance person having no technical knowledge to perform active maintenance of a plurality of parts mounted on the disk array device in a correct order even in for a multiple failure. PSOLUTION: When the maintenance person selects a multiple failure active maintenance on a maintenance operation menu (S40), a maintenance PC transmits a multiple failure active maintenance selection command to the disk array device (S41). In the disk array device, a CM activates a multiple failure active maintenance order determination program (S42). The multiple failure active maintenance order determination program creates a part maintenance order table in which parts to be maintained are arranged in the order of maintenance and replacement. The content of the formed part maintenance order table is transmitted to the maintenance PC (S43).
