PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for reducing blur caused by movement in an image. PSOLUTION: This invention relates to the method and the device for reducing blur caused by movement in the image blurred by the movement. The method includes a step for blurring a guessed image based on the image blurred by the movement as a function of a blur parameter of blur caused by movement. The blurred guessed image is compared with the image blurred by the movement to generate an error image. The error image is blurred and pixels in the blurred error image is weighted according to edge steepness near a corresponding pixel in the image blurred by the movement.
