PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a cushioning member and the like capable of emphatically displaying functioning to visually obtain the sense of security and that of trust for a wearer.;SOLUTION: The cushioning member is provided with a main cushioning part 2 for absorbing an impact, a confirmation assisting means 3 for assisting the wearer in confirming deformation of the cushioning part 2, an exposure part 50 making an image of the means 3 appear on it and an optical element 5 for providing the image of the means 3 with an optic effect.
