PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft slip-off preventing structure and slip-off preventing method for preventing a shaft from slipping off an inner ring at a low cost.;SOLUTION: The end of the shaft 6 is composed of: a first spline part 12 fitted to a female spline 2 of the inner ring 3; a second spline part 13 located on the tip side from the first spline part 12, projected from the end face of the inner ring 3 and different in phase from the first spline part 12; and a constricted part 14 serving as a connection part for connecting both spline parts so as to be relatively and torsionally deformable. To prevent slip-off of the shaft 6, the second spline part 13 is insert-fitted into the inner ring 3 from the opening side of an outer ring 1, and the first spline part 12 is torsionally deformed relative to the second spline part 13 through the constricted part 14 to make the phases of both spline parts coincide with each other. The shaft 6 is further pushed in to fit the first spline part 12 to the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring 3, and the second spline part 13 is projected from the end face on the shaft anti-insert-fitting side of the inner ring 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
