PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a collagen peptide-containing composition whose collagen, gelatine and the like are hydrolyzed to improve digestibility and absorbability, and which has an amino acid sequence: and to provide use of the composition.;SOLUTION: The method for producing collagen peptide-containing composition comprises a process of hydrolyzing collagen and the like through mixing kiwi fruit with collagen and the like to treat the collagen and the like with kiwi fruit-derived enzyme, and a process of deactivating the enzyme through heating the treatment liquid obtained in the process described above, wherein the hydrolyzing process and the enzyme-deactivation process are carried out in an inert gas atmosphere.
