PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of determining easily whether a liquid quantity and/or quality of a liquid reagent are/is normal or not in a microchip built-in with two or more kinds of liquid reagents, and a microchip capable of executing the method.;SOLUTION: This method of determining whether the liquid quantity and/or quality of the liquid reagent held in a reagent holding part are/is normal or not in the liquid reagent built-in type microchip provided at least with the reagent holding part, the first weighing part and the first mixing part, includes (A) a step of weighing each liquid reagent held in the reagent holding part by the first weighing part, (B) a step of mixing at least two or more kinds of weighed liquid reagents by the first mixing part, and (C) a step of evaluating a liquid quantity and/or quality of a liquid mixture obtained in the step (B), and for determining whether the liquid quantity and/or quality of the liquid reagent held in the reagent holding part are/is normal, based on the evaluation therein, and the present invention discloses also the liquid reagent built-in type microchip.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
