PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect deterioration of a shielding conductor such as a high voltage cable copper tape due to corrosion etc. easily, accurately, reliably and in high working efficiency.;SOLUTION: A shielding conductor deterioration determining device 1 of a high voltage cable for determining deterioration of a shielding conductor 11 located inside a sheath 12 on the periphery of a high voltage cable 2 includes: a coil 13 for generating an electromagnetic field and the resulting eddy current in the shielding conductor 11; a plurality of magnetic sensors 3 annularly arranged with an equal pitch around the periphery of the high voltage cable for detecting a second electromagnetic field produced by the eddy current; a computing part 14 for examining output differences between the respective magnetic sensors. The plurality of magnetic sensors 3 are fixed to a split type circular core 4, and the high voltage cable is inserted into the core by opening it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
