PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment system for producing drinking water capable of desalting seawater and having a small size enough to be mounted on a high mobile vehicle, and its operation method.;SOLUTION: The water treatment system for producing drinking water is constituted so as to dispense with a suck-back tank because the permeated water of a rear stage RO membrane device (low-pressure RO membrane device) is allowed to flow back to the outlet side of a front stage RO membrane device (high-pressure RO membrane device) at the time of stop of operation. Further, since the treated water of an MF membrane separator or a UF membrane separator is supplied to the front and rear stage RO membrane devices arranged in a series direction using one pressure pump, a plurality of pressure pumps for the RO membrane devices are unnecessary. With this constitution, the water treatment system for producing drinking water is miniaturized to a degree capable of being mounted even on the high mobile vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
