PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for slitting a thin sheet material and a method for slitting the thin sheet material by the apparatus, by which apparatus and method, slitted products always can be wound under the same condition and products having an excellent wound state can be stably achieved.;SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for slitting the thin sheet material is configured such that an original sheet 11A made of the thin sheet material 11 is slitted along the winding-off direction with a required width, and a plurality of the slitted products 11B is wound-up respectively. The apparatus 10 comprises an original sheet winding-off machine 12 for winding-off the original sheet 11A, an encoder 15 for detecting the moving speed of the original sheet 11A to be wound-off from the original sheet winding-off machine 12, an original sheet slitting machine 13 for forming a plurality of the products 11B by slitting the original sheet 11A so as to have a required width, a product winding-up machine 14 for winding-up a plurality of the products 11B, an encoder 27 for detecting the rotational speed for winding-up, and a control unit 30 for nearly synchronizing the rotational speed for winding-up the products 11B with the moving speed of the original sheet 11A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
