PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more inexpensive and highly productive method of manufacturing a needle roller bearing outer ring divided by a parting line extending to the axial line direction of a bearing.;SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for an outer ring member 12 for the needle roller bearing includes a process (process a) of forming a pilot hole to determine a work position of each work; processes (processes b, c) of forming a projection 12a by burring work; processes (processes d, e) of forming the outer shape of the outer ring member 12 for the needle roller bearing by die cutting work; a process (process f) of bending engagement claws 12b to the thickness direction of the outer ring member 12 for the needle roller bearing; processes (processes g to i) of bending the outer shape of the outer ring member 12 for the needle roller bearing at a predetermined curvature; and a process (process j) of punching a portion around the pilot hole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
