PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternative power supplying method in which there is no fear of erroneous connection and coming off of the connection, not requiring a large space, and capable of supplying electric power in place of an on-vehicle battery by a simple operation when exchanging the on-vehicle battery.;SOLUTION: When a vehicular battery B is exchanged, the alternative power supplying method supplies electric power to electric loads 41 to 44 connected to the battery B without passing through an accessory switch 13 and an ignition switch 16 and relays 24 to 27 on behalf of the battery B. At a socket to which the relays should be connected, two pin terminals 51, 53 should be connected on behalf of the relays, and a secondary battery Ba which can discharge electricity from the pin terminals 51, 53 are prepared.
