NEGATIVE PHASE DETECTING DEVICE, AIR CONDITIONER HAVING THE SAME, AND NEGATIVE PHASE DETECTING METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect negative phase connection of a motor connected to a three-phase alternating power source in an air conditioner while minimizing addition of electric circuit components such as a negative phase protection relay. PSOLUTION: This negative phase detecting device comprises the motor and a negative phase determining means. The motor is connected with the three-phase alternating power source, and drives a motor-driven device as a part of component devices of the air conditioner. The negative phase determining means determines whether the motor is connected with the three-phase alternating power source in negative phase or not base on a refrigerant flowing in a refrigerant circuit of the air conditioner or operational state quantity of the component device.
