COLLISION-RESISTANT HULL STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING COLLISION RESISTANCE OF VESSEL AND HULL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision-resistant hull structure and a method for improving collision resistance of a vessel and hull, capable of improving collision transverse strength when the vessel collides with the other vessel or a structure by using a transverse bulkhead, which used to have reinforcement materials arranged vertically in conventional technologies and have weak resistance against transverse force, as part of the hull structure to reduce deformation at the time of the collision, and of protecting cargo by reducing deformation of a structure constituting a hold.;SOLUTION: On the transverse bulkhead 10 partitioning the hold of the vessel, reinforcement materials 12 are arranged in the transverse direction to reduce deformation at the time of the collision. In this collision resistant hull structure, the side structure is formed by a side shell 3 and a longitudinal bulkhead 4, and the reinforcement materials 12 provided in the transverse direction on the transverse bulkhead 10 are extended between the side shell 3 and the longitudinal bulkhead 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
