PSOLUTION: In the main shaft support device for wind power generation, the main shaft 3 is supported by at least one roller bearing 5 installed in a bearing housing 15. The roller bearing 5 comprises an inner ring 11, an outer ring 12 and a rolling element 13 disposed between the inner ring 11 and the outer ring 12. The roller bearing 5 is constituted by encasing grease around the rolling element 13. The grease is a water-resistant grease constituted by compounding an additive agent containing at least a water dispersing agent a base grease comprising a non-aqueous base oil and a thickening agent.
