PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk player, its stop control method and a stop control program, capable of securely stopping a disk by setting an application time of a brake voltage to a time adequate to a rotational speed of the disk irrespective of the conditions whether or not a braking operation is impeded.;SOLUTION: The optical disk player includes a spindle motor 2, an optical pickup 4, a subcode storage part 70 storing a subcode detected by the optical pickup 4, a speed estimation part 71 estimating a rotational speed of the disk D by determining a signal detection position of the optical pickup 4 in the disk D on the basis of the subcode, a time determination part 72 determining a voltage application time to the spindle motor 2 for stopping the rotation of the disk D on the basis of the rotational speed estimated by the speed estimation part 71, and a stop instruction part 73 instructing the stop of the spindle motor 2 on the basis of the determined voltage application time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
