PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a difference in temperature at the time of printing a patch affects a value of error information.;SOLUTION: The error information acquiring apparatus comprises a patch printing means which prints the patch on a printing medium on the basis of predetermined image data by using a printer, a colorimetric value acquiring means which acquires a colorimetric value of the patch read by a predetermined colorimetry means, a temperature acquiring means which acquires an environmental temperature at the time of printing of the patch, a colorimetric value correcting means which carries out correction to the colorimetric value according to the difference between the acquired environmental temperature and a predetermined reference environmental temperature, and an error information acquiring means which acquires the error information that expresses a degree of a color shift to a reference color of the printer on the basis of the colorimetric value after being corrected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
