PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master machine selecting method for increasing a network keepable time in an ad hoc wireless network of connection.;SOLUTION: A master machine terminal collects the battery remaining amounts of the respective terminals (steps S201-S202, step S212), and also monitors a data exchange amount (step S203). The master machine terminal calculates respectively the predicted battery remaining times of each terminal concerning a case where the respective terminals are defined as the master machine (step S208), based on the change of the battery remaining amount and the data exchange amount. Consequently, the terminal, capable of allowing the battery remaining time total value (the average value of the battery remaining times of the terminals) of the whole terminals to be the largest, is selected as the master machine (step S209).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
