PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect the displacement of color materials between machine plates. PSOLUTION: An automatic detection device for color displacement which automatically detects the displacement of color materials on machine plates between the machine plates has a data storing portion 11 storing first space vector data per color plate edited when an output of a color plate is performed earlier, and second space vector data per latest color plate edited when an output of a B plate is performed as space vector data used when a color printing plate is outputted, an image data preparing portion 12 preparing first and second raster image data obtained by rasterizing the first and the second space vector data, a displacement detecting portion 13 determining whether or not each image data does not coincide with each other, and detecting the color displacement, and a control portion 10 controlling to operate the portions 11, 12, and 13.
