LASER BEAM CUTTING METHOD FOR DESIGN PIECE, AND EMBROIDERY MACHINING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a second design piece in good visual quality by a laser beam near a first design piece stuck onto a base sheet.;SOLUTION: A flexible sheet 25B being the material of the second design piece 23B is piled up on the first design piece 23A and put on the base sheet. Near the first design piece 23A, trimming stitches 27B are formed on the flexible sheet 25B so as to be extended on the inner side of the contour line 26B of the second design piece 23B, and the flexible sheet 25B is sewn to the base sheet by the stitches 27B. The laser beam is emitted along a cutting line 28 extending between the contour lines 26A and 26B of the two design pieces 23A and 23B and a coarsely cut part is cut off from the flexible sheet 25B. Thereafter, the laser beam is emitted along the contour line 26B of the second design piece 23B and the second design piece 23B is cut off from the coarsely cut part 29.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
