PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound glass yarn prepared by winding a glass yarn not requiring processes of secondary sizing after warping, heat deoiling and a surface treatment after weaving; a method for producing the same; a glass cloth using a glass yarn or a doubled and twisted glass yarn reeled from wound glass yarn; and a transparent composite composition using the glass cloth. PSOLUTION: This wound glass yarn is prepared by coating the filament surface of a glass long fiber strand imparted with twisting with a sizing agent containing a silane coupling agent and a polyamine derivative-based lubricating agent, etc. The method for producing the wound glass yarn comprises winding the glass yarn. The doubled and twisted glass yarn is prepared by doubling and twisting a glass yarn reeled from the wound glass yarn. The doubled and twisted yarn wound article is prepared by winding the doubled and twisted glass yarn on a bobbin. The glass cloth is prepared by weaving the glass yarn or the doubled and twisted glass yarn.
