PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for preventing snake from climbing tower, which prevents snakes from climbing a transmission line tower and a utility pole, uses a simple installation operation by using a long sheet rich in general-purpose properties and surface subjected to special processing, and is capable of carrying out the prevention countermeasures for ground fault caused by the contacting of snake with a power line and a transformer.;SOLUTION: The sheet 7 for preventing snakes from climbing the tower, having hemispherical protrusions on the surface is installed in the transmission line tower constituted of angle steels so as to cover both end parts in the transverse direction (width direction) of angle steels and bent parts within the prescribed range in the longitudinal direction of the tower prop 1 for a prescribed width. When installed in the utility pole, the sheets 7 for preventing snakes from climbing the tower are installed parallel, in the right and the left sides of the line segments binding neighboring vertically moving metal fittings, in the upper and lower direction on the generating line of the utility pole; and according to circumstances, the sheets 7 for preventing snakes from climbing the tower having a prescribed width is installed on the opposite generating line of the generating line, based on the center line of the utility pole.
