PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for appropriately deciding on the position of a bone resection surface and the size of an implant before artificial joint replacement.;SOLUTION: The artificial joint replacement supporting instrument decides on a front X-ray source, a plane to which a front X-ray photograph belongs, a side X-ray source and a plane to which a side X-ray photograph belongs, and a three-dimensional relative positional relationship (three-dimensional positional relationship between a front tripartite relationship and a side tripartite relationship) in five elements of three-dimensional CAD data (S7), and displays the image of three-dimensional CAD data of an implant on top of an appropriate position in the joint of the X-ray photograph in a display device (S9 and S10).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
