ESCAPE LADDER AND PIVOT CONNECTION METHOD OF VERTICAL LINK OF ESCAPE LADDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escape ladder preventing backlash of a pivot connection part of vertical links while improving assembling workability, preventing deflection and reducing the weight and the cost.;SOLUTION: This escape ladder is provided with a pair of left/right telescopic bodies 5 and 5 formed by pivotally connecting a plurality of vertical links 2 and 3 with rivets 4 and washers 7 respectively into a pantograph state and telescoping in the vertical direction, and a plurality of foothold lateral links 6 disposed at optional positions between the telescopic bodies and connected to the vertical link 2 or 3. The washer 7 is formed into a shape which has a washer body 7a interposed between superposed faces of the vertical links 2 and 3 that are mutually superposed and pivotally connected together, and an elastic cylinder part 7b projecting from the inside diameter part of the washer body into a barrel-like cylindrical shape so as to expandingly/contractingly deform and be inserted into a rivet hole formed in one vertical link 2 out of the mutually superposed and pivotally connected vertical links 2 and 3. The rivet 4 is inserted and caulked in a rivet hole 9 bored in the other vertical link 3 and having an approximately same hole diameter to the shaft diameter of the rivet 4 and the elastic cylinder part 7b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
