PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fermentation culture medium which is more easily-available, more inexpensive, higher in an implantation rate of micro-organisms and further higher in a water absorption coefficient than conventional fermentation culture media such as wood dusts, wood chips, plastic chips, and zeolites in a biotechnology toilet treating to decompose feces and urine by work of micro-organisms. PSOLUTION: The invention is characterized in that corncob 3 is used as the fermentation culture medium in a fermentation treatment tank 2 in the biotechnology toilet provided with a toilet bowl 1, the fermentation treatment tank 2 having feces 4 and urine and disposed at the underpart of the toilet bowl 1, and a stirrer 5 in the fermentation treatment tank 2.
