PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a write current, and to improve a production efficiency of a magnetic storage device.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the yoke-type magnetic storage device includes a lower-interconnection-forming step of forming the lower interconnection, an element-forming step of arranging a magnetoresistance effect element over the lower interconnection, a write-interconnection forming step of forming the write-interconnection over the magnetoresistance effect element, and an uppper-side-yoke-forming step of continuously and simultaneously forming a side yoke for covering the side of a part region and a top yoke for covering the upper surface of the part region to the part region in a longitudinal direction of the write interconnection.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
