PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of restraining increase of a capacity for storing trace information in RFID and detecting tampering of the trace information in a system for traceability of medical supplies, foods and the like.;SOLUTION: RFID 6 storing trace information is adhered to a commodity 5, and orthogonal codes different for each distribution base 1 are assigned to all distribution bases 1, to which the commodity 5 might be distributed. Every time when the commodity 5 passes through the distribution base 1, a base code calculated from the orthogonal code assigned to the distribution base 1, though which the commodity 5 passes, is added to the trace information stored in the RFID 6 adhered on the distributed commodity 5, so as to create the trace information utilized when verifying the traceability of the commodity 5. When the traceability of the commodity 5 is checked, the trace information is read from the RFID 6 adhered on the commodity 5, so as to calculate an inner product of the orthogonal codes assigned to the respective distribution bases 1 and the trace information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
