METHOD FOR TESTING DOUBLE-RACE ROLLER BEARING UNIT

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a testing method capable of shortening a period required from confirming the presence of a flaw up to specifying the presence position of the flaw, preventing any defective from being produced, shortening a period for which a production line is suspended, and improving productive efficiency. PSOLUTION: A plurality of rolling elements 6, 6 at a time are respectively disposed between double-race outer raceways 11a, 11b which are formed on the inner circumference of an outer ring 5, and double-race inner raceways 8a, 8b which are formed on the outer circumference of a hub 2, so as to roll therein. Specifications affecting orbital speeds of these rolling elements 6, 6 are made different from each other between the double races. A vibration of the outer ring 5 is measured while rotating the hub 2, and the race having a defect is specified based on a frequency of the vibration caused by the defect.
