PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pile-head base-isolating equipment for controlling the response displacement direction of a structure in a definite range, which enables a train to safely travel even during earthquakes, by restraining a train track from being displaced in a direction perpendicular to a railroad by an earthquake motion.;SOLUTION: This pile-head base-isolating equipment, which controls the response displacement direction of the structure in the definite range, is equipped with a steel switching device 4 which is arranged between an upper surface 3 of a pile head, arranged on the ground 1 of the train track, and a bottom surface of a footing 5 arranged on the train track, and which partially switches the displacement by the earthquake motion, acting in the direction perpendicular to the railroad, to displacement in a railroad direction. The steel switching device 4 makes the displacement by the earthquake motion, acting in the direction perpendicular to the railroad, partially switched to the displacement in the railroad direction A, so as to suppress the displacement of the train track in the direction perpendicular to the railroad.
