PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley supporting bearing having a stable life while suppressing the generation of heat and meeting the needs for a compacter form in the axial direction.;SOLUTION: The pulley supporting bearing 11 is a sealed type double-row angular contact ball bearing which is fitted to the inner diameter face of a pulley for rotatably supporting the pulley. Specifically, it comprises an inner ring 12 having double-row inner ring raceway grooves 12a and an inner diameter size d₁ of d₁≥30 mm, an outer ring 13 having double-row outer ring raceway grooves 13a and an outer diameter size d₂ of 45 mm≤d₂≤65 mm and an axial size 1 of 118 mm, 0.19≤1/d₂0.39, a plurality of balls 14 arranged between the inner ring raceway groove 12a and the outer ring raceway groove 13a and having a diameter Db of 2 mm≤Db4 mm, and a sealing member 16 arranged between the inner ring 12 and the outer ring 13 for sealing a bearing internal space. A contact angle α between the ball 14 and each of the inner ring raceway groove 12a and the outer ring raceway groove 13a satisfies 5°≤α≤15°.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
