MOVING AVERAGE VALUE CALCULATION CIRCUIT AND MOVING AVERAGE VALUE CALCULATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving average value calculation circuit for calculating an accurate movement average value.;SOLUTION: An input data storage circuit 11 stores the latest input data. An average value storage circuit 17 stores the past moving average value. An arithmetic unit 13 calculates the difference between the input data and the moving average value. A 1/2 arithmetic unit calculates the value of the 1/2 of the difference. An arithmetic unit 15 calculates a new moving average value by adding the moving average value to the value of the 1/2 of the difference. An absolute value arithmetic unit 23 calculates the absolute value of the difference. When the absolute value of the difference is larger than a threshold, a selection unit 16 stores the storage of the moving average value by the average value storage circuit 17, and when the absolute value of the difference is smaller than the threshold, the selection unit 16 updates the moving average value stored in the mean value storage circuit 17 to a new moving average value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
