PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for selecting a channel more than before in a digital broadcast receiver having a built-in double tuner.;SOLUTION: A digital broadcast channel selection apparatus 100 comprises: first and second tuners for receiving digital broadcasting signals each to select specified channels and providing program data including video images and sound data of a selected channel; a selection means for selecting one of the first and the second tuners to provide the program data obtained from the selected tuner; and a control means for selecting one of the first and the second tuners by the selection means according to an inputted channel selection instruction and performing control so that one tuner selects a channel adjacent to a channel selected by the other tuner.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
