VERY TRACE AMOUNT LUBRICANT SUPPLY TYPE CUTTING AND GRINDING PROCESSING METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cutting and grinding a member to be processed by an ultratrace amount lubricant supply system which secures a sufficient chip cleaning property without using a conventional type raised pH water-soluble lubricant for cleaning cutting chips in order to eliminate chips, and prevents rust and discoloration of the member to be processed, lubrication failure of a sliding part of a machine tool, and harmful effect or the like on an environment. PSOLUTION: Problems are solved by a method which uses a lubricant composition containing an ester as a base oil and a surface active agent for the ultratrace amount lubricant supply type cutting and grinding, and uses a water dilute solution of the lubricant composition as a lubricant for eliminating chips.
