PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the positional automatic controlling device and the positional automatic controlling method of the patterned roller of an intaglio printing machine, which manufactures a uniform product by automatically adjusting the inking position of a patterned roller.;SOLUTION: This intaglio printing machine has the patterned roller 3 pivotally supported by rotating bearings 5 and 9, sleeves 6 and 10 and spindles 4a and 4b between a left and a right machine frames 2a and 2b, a top and tail edge-wise and horizontal positional adjusting contrivance of the patterned roller 3 and a hydraulic cylinder 7 changeable of the pressure for supporting the patterned roller so constituted as to detect a position adjusting mark 25 engraved in advance on the patterned roller 3 with a position sensor 26 and can move the patterned roller to the position set in advance with a horizontally adjusting motor 23 and a top and tail edge-wise adjusting motor 24 arranged at the predetermined positions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
