PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a semiconductor optical amplification type gate switch at a high speed while maintaining the capacity of a driving current supplied to the semiconductor optical amplification type gate switch.;SOLUTION: Non-inverting type high-speed operational amplifiers OP1 and OP2 which are connected in parallel output amplify a rectangular wave signal output from a signal generator SG to output a driving signal for turning ON/OFF of an SOA type gate switch 22. Transmission lines T1 and T2 make connections from a branch point A to non-inverted input terminals of the non-inverting type high-speed operational amplifiers OP1 and OP2 so that their transmission delay times become equal to each other. Transmission lines T3 and T4 make connections from output terminals of the non-inverting type high-speed operational amplifiers OP1 and OP2 to a coupling point B so that their transmission delay times become equal to each other. A Schottky barrier diode D1 suppresses a ringing generated during a fall of a voltage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
