PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contaminated gas purifying method and a purifying mechanism which are excellent in processing efficiency more than a conventional one.;SOLUTION: This contaminated gas purifying method is equipped with an electrolysis process, and a mist-form atomizing process. In this case, in the electrolysis process, a liquid L containing chlorine is electrolyzed under the coexistence of an electrolyte 1. In the mist-form atomizing process, an acidic gas is generated by atomizing the liquid L which has been electrolyzed in the electrolysis process into a mist form. This contaminated gas purifying mechanism is equipped with an electrolyzing means 2, and a mist-form atomizing zone 4. In this case, the electrolyzing means 2 electrolyzes the liquid L containing chlorine under the coexistence of the electrolyte 1. The mist-form atomizing zone 4 makes the acidic gas generated by atomizing the liquid L which has been electrolyzed by the electrolyzing means 2 into the mist form. In the evaporation process of the mist-form liquid droplet particle, the chemical activation reaction of the gasified acidic gas can be made to directly affect contamination substances.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
