PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of precisely and quantitatively determining a bubble flow rate in a liquid flowing inside a conduit.;SOLUTION: The method for quantitatively determining the bubble flow rate in the liquid flowing inside the conduit 1 measures a fluid flow velocity and a transmission echo, finds an average echo height, an echo vanished time or a bubble detection time, based on the measured transmission echo, and finds the bubble flow rate, based on a correlation between the bubble flow rate and the average echo height, the echo vanished time or the bubble detection time in the fluid flow velocity found preliminarily, in a method attached with a transmission probe 2 for transmitting an ultrasonic wave to the conduit with the flowing liquid and the reception probe 2 for receiving the transmitted ultrasonic wave, and of quantitatively determining the bubble flow rate in the liquid flowing in the inside of the conduit 1, by an ultrasonic transmission method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
