PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the calibration work of a vibration correction device and to easily execute recalibration after shipping. PSOLUTION: The detected results of an angular rate sensor 10 of a digital camera 2 and an already calibrated external angular rate sensor are compared in a comparator circuit 43, and their phase difference and the difference of the maximum amplitudes are obtained from the waveform of the time-based change of the detected results of the angular rate sensor 10 and the external angular rate sensor. In a first calibration part 20, the setting value of the gain correction of the detected result of the angular rate sensor 10 is changed so that the phase difference and the difference of the maximum amplitudes obtained in the comparator circuit 43 become 0 or a stipulated value or less.
