PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CBN ball end mill which achieves improvements in a cutting edge strength of the CBN ball end mill and in a quality of a machined surface by devising a cutting edge shape of a ball blade.;SOLUTION: In the ball blade formed of a sintered CBN, a wedge angle β on a cross section in a normal direction of each part of right and left cutting edges 3a forming a centrosymmetric shape is set at 100-135 degrees, and an angle of relief α is set at 5-25 degrees, and a chisel edge with a minute width formed by crossing a flank 6 of the right and left cutting edges across the ball blade center is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
