PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing construction method of an I-shaped cross-sectional girder and the I-shaped cross-sectional girder, suitable for a reinforcing construction method of a crane traveling girder and the traveling girder, for checking progress of a fatigue crack generated in a web.;SOLUTION: This reinforcing construction method is provided for installing a reinforcing member on the I-shaped cross-sectional girder of arranging a vertical stiffening material at an equal interval in the longitudinal direction for connecting upper-lower flanges. A reinforcing method of the I-shaped cross-sectional girder is characterized in that the reinforcing member is installed in a part of a web and the lower flange surrounded by an opposed surface of the vertical stiffening material and the vertical stiffening material, and a rib is installed in parallel to the lower flange on the reinforcing member installed in the web, and the rib contacts on its both ends with the reinforcing member installed on the opposed surface of the vertical stiffening material. When the fatigue crack develops in the web when installing the reinforcing member in a part of the web, a stop hole is arranged on the tip of the fatigue crack, and the reinforcing member and the web are joined by a bolt with the stop hole as a bolt hole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
