PSOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the functional film by the laser ablation, and the composition for laser ablation used therefor, the layer 102 of the composition is formed on a substrate 101 by applying the composition for laser ablation containing particles 103 containing metal elements and organic dispersion medium 104 thereto, the layer of the composition is irradiated with laser beams in an image manner, the composition in a part irradiated with laser beams is removed, and the layer of the composition remaining on the substrate is baked.
