PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot melt-bondable elastic fiber made as hardly causing loosening, etc., of the end of a knitted fabric by a boiling water treatment.;SOLUTION: This hot melt-bondable elastic fiber has ≥0.1 cN/dtex hot melt-bonding power in boiling water treatment at 95°C for 30 min in a bare knitted fabric method and 2.5 fold adhering rate in its cheese surface layer. By the fabric, e.g. it is possible to hot melt-bond a knitted end part, etc., by a dyestuff in a boiling water state in its dyeing treatment, and prevent the loosening during its dyeing process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
