PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet ink for a color filter, the ink having superior pigment dispersibility and stability of pigment dispersion with time and hardly causing wrinkles or cracks in a cured film, after ink is prepared, and to provide a method for manufacturing a color filter that uses the ink.;SOLUTION: The ink-jet ink for a color filter contains: (A) a pigment; (B) a pigment dispersant; (C) a dispersion assistant resin comprising a specified alicyclic epoxy resin; (D) an epoxy compound having two or more epoxy groups in one molecule, different from the above dispersion assistant resin (C); (E) a polyvalent carboxylic acid derivative of a carboxylic acid (e1), having a specified structure concealed by a vinyl ether compound (e2); and (F) a solvent.
