PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way input/output rotational transfer mechanism capable of simultaneously and smoothly releasing, from a cut-in state, a plurality of torque transfer balls cutting in between an input rotary shaft and an output rotary shaft with strong force in spite of including a small number components and having a simple structure; and an ultrasonic rotary drive device utilizing the one-way input/output rotational transfer mechanism.;SOLUTION: This one-way input/output rotational transfer mechanism includes: a plurality of circumferential guide grooves each having a shape identical to those of the others, and formed on a part facing an axial orthogonal surface of the rotary input member to surround an axis when viewed in the axial direction; and the plurality of torque transfer balls respectively rollably inserted among the axial orthogonal surface, an inner cylindrical surface and the plurality of circumferential guide grooves, and always caught by the circumferential guide grooves and the axial orthogonal surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
