PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a user's convenience in copy processing.;SOLUTION: In the multimedia reproduction device 20 capable of reproducing a content held in an external medium, a storage part 80 holds a content to be reproduced. A copy control part 81 specifies a folder of a copy object from folders held in the external medium according to the user's instruction, and copies the specified folder to the storage part 80. The copy control part 81 determines whether the folder of the copy object contains a content prohibited from being copied to or not, and collectively copies, when the folder is determined to contain the copy-prohibited content, only contents not prohibited from being copied, of the contents contained in the folder, to the storage part 80.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
