PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement device for engagement and transmission error capable of precision and continuous measurement and a manufacturing method of the gear. PSOLUTION: The measurement device for engagement and transmission error 10 comprises: a measurement gear 31 arranged on the center shaft 100; a measurement gear 41 engaging with the measurement gear 31 and rotates centering the center shaft 200; and weighting plumbs 20m and 20n for imparting the rotation torque to the measurement gear 41 centering the center shaft 200 by theself-weight.
