PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic rare earth permanent magnet material.;SOLUTION: The anisotropic rare earth permanent magnet material having Th2Zn17 type crystal structure is expressed by a general expression as (Sm1-αRα)×Fe100-x-y-zMyIz, where R is as single Pr or combination of Pr and other rare and earth elements, α as 0.01≤α≤0.30, M as selected from Si, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Nb, Mo, Al, and Zr, I as single N or combination of N and C, and x, y, z is expressed as 7≤x≤12, 0.01≤y≤8.0, and 6≤z≤14.4 in its respective atomic percentage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
