PANTOGRAPH CONTACT-FORCE ADJUSTING METHOD, AND PANTOGRAPH

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pantograph that can keep a contact force, between a pantograph head (including a slider) and a trolley line, in a proper range. PSOLUTION: A pantograph head 5 of a pantograph is, as an example, an obtuse type, and the pantograph head is provided with movable irregularities means (roughness) 7A, 7B respectively provided at the upper part and at the lower part of its front edge part. When the contact force between a trolley line and a slider 6 exceeds a prescribed upper limit, the lower roughness 7B is protruded so as to reduce an atmospheric pressure on the lower face side of the pantograph head; while when the contact force is below a prescribed lower limit value, the upper roughness 7A is protruded so as to reduce an atmospheric pressure on the upper face side of the pantograph head.
