PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversion system of a power value expressed in a true value into a power value expressed in a decibel value in which the conversion can be performed at high speed with a small conversion error by eliminating the need for a complicated linear-log calculation since there has been such a problem that the log calculation for the conversion of the power value expressed in the true value into the power value expressed in the decibel value is complicated and a conversion error is greater at a value closer to an upper limit and a lower limit of the power value expressed in the true value when an approximate computational expression is used.;SOLUTION: The conversion system of the power value expressed in the true value into the power value expressed in the decibel value classifies the power value expressed in the true value into a plurality of cases, prepares approximate computational expressions where the approximate center of Taylor expansion is changed for each case of the power value expressed in the true value so as to satisfy a maximum permissible error, and uses the approximate computational expression corresponding to the detected power value expressed in the true value to perform conversion of the power value expressed in the true value into the power value expressed in the decibel value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
