PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink-jet ink for a color filter with which a thick film part is less likely to be produced at edge part and proper pixels or the like with reduced surface unevenness can be formed, to provide a method for manufacturing the ink, to provide a method for manufacturing a color filter that uses the ink-jet ink achieving the purpose, and to provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display that uses the method for manufacturing the color filter.;SOLUTION: The ink-jet ink for the color filter comprises at least a binder component, a pigment and a solvent. The solvent contains a solvent component, having 180°C to 260°C boiling point and 0.5 mmHg vapor pressure or lower at normal temperature as a first solvent by 60 to 95 wt.%, with respect to the whole amount of the solvent and further contains a solvent component having boiling point of 130°C or higher and 180°C or lower as a second solvent by 5 to 40 wt.%, with respect to the total amount of the solvent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
